Growing Your Own Business
Getting started as a home based business is exciting, exhilarating and gives you a feeling of accomplishment, especially if it is successful, and there is no reason why it can not be. Maybe you will not be on the front page of Forbes, but who cares. It is your little baby, that you have helped it to walk and maybe it will of a soul all of it’s own, especially when it gets out of control and starts running around like a madman!
We started off selling on Ebay, and we spent over 8 years there. We learnt how market and sell product. We also learnt how to deal with customer complaints. We now have two businesses over at Ecrater Fun Cool Collectibles and we have just undertaken the opening of Discount Cosmetics. While Fun Cool Collectibles has taken off, we have just started Discount Cosmetics in the last week, it should take off, as soon as I start my article writing. While we do not believe that we will get rich overnight, but with hard work , perseverance and lots of patience we believe that we will be successful. We believe that the opportunities are there, as well as the competition, it will be those that persevere that will reap the benefits of working online.
We believe that much of our success is buying consumer goods cheap and selling for a little less than our competitors, we sell our goods at a very competitive rate, and this helps us to be more successful. We have several stores that will phone us when they are having clearance sales, and we will go over there and purchase their goods, and proceed to sell them online. It is a very competitive field, be we do well enough.
The advantage of having your own online business, is the flexibility that you have. You can work whenever you want, you do not have to spend hours a day commuting back and forth to work. All of that time commuting can be spent growing your business.
